Kowloon
is a huge cape on the Chinese mainland situated in north of Hong Kong which became a part
of Hong Kong in 1860, Kowloon means "Nine Dragons". Tsim sha Tsui is a very well
known & popular tourist place because of its lights, cru sine, harbor, ferries,
all cruise food but most of all it fulfills the shopping opportunities of tourists, late
night shopping is very well known here. Nathan road is the one place a person should visit
in kowloon it is considered as ' Golden mile of Kowloon' , it is lined with luxury
hotels, lots of shops, fast food stalls...etc.
In kowloon there is
ladies market in Mongkok, which is very popular for late night & cheap shopping. It
opens in evening 6:30- 7:00 till morning 2:30 - 3:00. You can get things like clothes,
shoes, wallets, purses, toys for kids, pirated cd's, vcd's, dvd's., watches, jwellery,
make-up sets...etc.A good brand name wallet, clothes, shoes are even sold in this
market. The price ranges from $1 to $500. Bargaining is very good, a t-shirt for $70 could
be even baught for $30 so always bargain. Same as this there is a another market in jordon
which is called night market & that is same but here you can also get for men while in
ladies market there is a very low chance of male shopping.
