THE SCHOOL STAFF REPORT

According to the junior school reports we know that the year was the most exciting year as the millennium had brought along with it changes, changes and more changes. These changes were all positive in nature. On the first day itself they have cheerful face that are walking into school.

They have made a concious effort to reduce the weight of their bags by reducing the number of text book and excercise books. They have even introduced Indian classical music, alongwith western singing. They have tried to make a child's childhood days very lively by allowing to cover their books in coloured paper. As usual a child was accessed on the basis of their day to day application in their work and their performance in surprise tests that were taken from time to time. And after completion of relevent units. This system has helped children to inculcate some values of punctuality, regularity and discipline in the children.

At the end of the year the children were geared with a better sense of responsibility and higher levels of achievements. The marks system is now replaced by the grading system so that it does not invite an unhealthy compitetion among children. Every child was encouraged to compete with her own progress. According to the teachers of the junior staff their students almost stole the heart of the chief guest Mr. Shivanandhan on prize distribution day. They even performed intresting play THE ASSEMBLY.

The course of the year flies by giving innemerable opportunities to children to exhibit their talent. Inter house compitions that are held were a real grand slam. Lovely drills are performed by the students under the guidance of children during the Sports day. Students are also encouraged to take part in the interschool compitetions. The year flew by very fast. The new millennium has given the staff new ideas and hope to make the coming years more colourful and bright for the children.

The senior school staff report

The school has a 100% result where an average number of 5 students score above 90% about 15 students have scored above 80% and where 25 students above 70% and a couple of students above 60%and 50%.

The students election is also conducted in the year giving oppertunities to the students to take up the office responsibilities.

The Vice Principals of both the Departments say that the students did a wonderful work during the Viveknanda Vision. They had taken the pains and the efforts to make the lovely charts and models. It was with the co operation of the students that the whole function became an event to remember.
