ABOUT TANZANIA
Tanzania is a natural resource
of game sanctuaries, and a lot of historical sites, dating back to 2
million years ago. Spread over a vast area of about 937,000 sq km,1/4
of it is game parks and reserves. Tanzania prides itself for the finest,
richest wild life sanctuaries in the world. Just to name a few of them
are Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Rubondo, Ngorongoro,Tarangire, Rubondo, Lake
Manyara, Mount Kilimanjaro, Mikumi, Ruaha, Lake Victoria and the Selous.
There are some of the very virgin nature reserves, which are mostly
inaccessible by roads, accessible by air. Tanzania is a mixture of cultures,
which ranges from the native bushmen and also the community which came
from Asia and also from Europe. The native tribes are numbered to be
120. Kiswahili is the National language by all the tribes in Tanzania.
GETTING TO TANZANIA
The best way is to fly directly
into Tanzania, there are three international airports which cater to
the international Visitors. Kilimanjaro International Airport is most
convenient to the Northern Tourist Circuit. It is located midway between
Arusha, the place for many safaris and Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest
Peak. Dar es salaam International Airport is convenient for the southern
circuit and Zanzibar. Being the capital of Tanzania you have the convenience
of number of international and local carriers offer there services through
this airport. Zanzibar International Airport has scheduled services
from a number of neighboring countries. There are often people who fly
into Nairobi, and then take a road journey to Arusha. There are lot
of shuttle services that offer transport between these places. There
is also a scheduled air service between Nairobi and Arusha. National
