The TorontoTransit Commission (TTC) has the third-highest per capita ridership in North America. Every weekday, more than 1.5 million riders travel throughout Toronto and its surrounding suburbs.

The TTC has won international acclaim as one of the world's safest, cleanest and most efficient public transit systems.

Government of Ontario (GO) commuter trains link Toronto with neighbouring municipalities within a 90-Km (56-mile) radius of the City. From the GO train terminal at Toronto's Union Station, commuters have direct access to the TTC'S subway system and the City's system of underground plazas and walkways which connect the downtown's major office towers.
