The drum loops featured on this page are in mp3 format. This special audio file format compresses a CD-quality sample down to a truly tiny size. To work with mp3 files, you need a program called WinAmp. It will allow you not only to listen to the drum loop, but also to output it as a WAV (or AIFF) file, which you can then feed into your Sound editor, Recycle, sampler, etc. Also if you have a Macintosh, you might check out SoundApp -- some people have had better results than with MacAmp. And finally if you are using Linux (as well you should!) you can use X11Amp.
